What type of wax do you use?
I use both strip wax, which gently exfoliates the skin, and hard wax, which does not exfoliate. Hard wax is an excellent choice for sensitive areas or guests with sensitive skin. For those with very sensitive skin, I also offer an all-hard wax option for a comfortable experience.
Your hair should be at least 1/4 inch long, which is roughly two weeks of growth. Longer hair is perfectly fine and often better for a smoother result.
Please avoid trimming. If your hair is too short, wax may not remove it effectively, and I may need to tweeze the remaining hair. Even clippers with guards can leave hair too short, so when in doubt, let it grow!
To get the best results, shower and exfoliate the night before or the morning of your appointment. Avoid applying oils or lotions to the area before waxing. However, deodorant is fine for underarms.
Aftercare is essential! I recommend avoiding heat, friction, and tight clothing for 24-48 hours. Keep the area clean and moisturized to maintain smooth, healthy skin.
How should I prepare for my spray tan appointment?
Exfoliate your entire body using a loofah or washcloth the night before or the morning of your appointment. Avoid using lotion, oil, or deodorant to ensure even application and long-lasting results.
Bring loose, dark-colored clothing to wear post-appointment. The tanning solution is water-soluble and should wash out of most fabrics, but dark clothing is best to avoid any visible stains.
The regular tanning solution develops in 8-10 hours, while the rapid tan solution can develop in just 1-4 hours, making it perfect for those on a tight schedule.
Should I bring anything to my facial appointment?
